Sleep embracing the Qijin seascape at the newly opened "Qijin Boulevard Hotel"

Kaohsiung’s popular tourist destination Qijin finally has its first hotel！The "Qijin Boulevard Hotel" grandly opened yesterday (the 28th) morning. With its breathtaking sea views, sunsets, and the renowned seafood cuisine of Qijin, it aims to capture the summer travel crowd and offers a new lodging option for many visitors wishing to stay overnight in Qijin.

In the past, Qijin was filled with street vendors. The city government established the Qianhou Tourist Market as a permanent home for these vendors. Its fishbone-shaped steel structure and solar-powered green building won the 2010 "National Excellent Construction Award" Gold Prize and have become one of Qijin’s landmarks. In addition to housing the ground-floor tourist market, the city government also introduced business investments to revitalize the entire building, giving rise to Qijin’s first hotel—the Qijin Boulevard Hotel.

The Qijin Boulevard Hotel is located on the third floor of the Qianhou Tourist Market, creating a strong maritime ambiance and vacation atmosphere. In addition to over 70 guest rooms, the hotel also houses the Qiwangjiao Restaurant, which serves creative seafood dishes. The rooftop has been transformed into an open-air Yang Bar, offering American-style snacks and signature drinks, allowing guests to fully enjoy the colorful sunset clouds and twinkling fishing lights amid the cool sea breeze, experiencing the beauty of Qijin in a relaxed state of mind.

 

Chen Chu stated that the area around the Qianhou Tourist Market is the most scenic part of Qijin. With the opening of the hotel, it provides excellent accommodation, leisure, and dining options, bringing more development to the beaches and coastline. She hopes the Qijin Boulevard Hotel will operate successfully and further boost the prosperity of Qijin tourism.
