China Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines' codeshare flights make traveling to the U.S. more convenient

Following the implementation of the U.S. visa waiver program, after launching two weekly direct flights to Hawaii on June 2, China Airlines will further collaborate with Hawaiian Airlines on a codeshare basis starting from the winter schedule on October 27, offering passengers up to 11 weekly round-trip flights between Taipei and Honolulu. As the only airline from Taiwan flying to Hawaii, China Airlines will provide more convenient and diverse services through this codeshare partnership.

China Airlines Chairman Sun Hongxiang said: “Currently, China Airlines operates nine weekly round-trip flights between Taipei and Honolulu, including two direct flights and seven flights with a stopover in Tokyo. With the addition of two weekly codeshare flights operated by Hawaiian Airlines, the total of 11 weekly round-trips between Taiwan and Hawaii will enhance business and tourism exchanges between the two regions.”

 

In addition to the Taipei–Honolulu route, the codeshare cooperation also extends to segments between the U.S., Southeast Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. Passengers can take Hawaiian Airlines codeshare flights to the Hawaiian Islands and travel between Honolulu and U.S. West Coast cities. For travelers coming from Hawaii to Taiwan, they can also connect via China Airlines flights to Southeast Asian cities such as Bangkok, Singapore, and Kuala Lumpur, as well as Australia and New Zealand.
