The first stop at the airport: Liquor Library

Liquor Library is located in Terminal 1 of McCarran International Airport. Unlike the typical duty-free tobacco and alcohol shops beyond security, it is the first publicly accessible retail liquor store within the airport that includes taxes. In addition to offering a wide variety of beers, wines, spirits, and cigars, it is also themed around a library—with white bookshelves, library-style stairs, elegant circular chandeliers, dark wooden floors, and white marble countertops. If you don’t look closely at the dazzling array of amber-hued liquors on the shelves, you might think you’ve walked into a library. Even the staff are called “librarians,” dressed in white shirts and thick-rimmed glasses as they glide gracefully between the aisles.
