The Taipei International Travel Fair kicks off on October 18, with presale tickets going on sale today

This year marks the 27th edition of the largest travel exhibition in the Asia-Pacific region—“ITF Taipei International Travel Fair (Taipei International Travel Fair)”—which will be held from October 18 to 21 at Hall 1, Area H on the 2nd floor of Hall 1, and Hall 3 of the Taipei World Trade Center. This year’s Taipei International Travel Fair has reached an all-time high in scale, featuring over 60 countries and regions and 1,350 booths. Presale tickets will go on sale simultaneously at 7-Eleven and FamilyMart convenience stores across Taiwan from today until September 11. Each ticket is priced at NT$150 (original price NT$200) and can also be used to enter the on-site lottery, with a chance to win million-dollar prizes such as airline tickets and accommodation vouchers. Additionally, convenience store promotions such as coffee drinks or ice cream are also available.

More and more people are choosing “homestays” as their accommodation when traveling, and they can even be treated as part of the itinerary. This year, the Taipei International Travel Fair has innovatively planned a “Homestay, Hotel & Food Zone” on the 2nd floor, Area H of Hall 1 at the Taipei World Trade Center, offering a variety of choices including “Hospitality Homestays” selected by the Tourism Bureau of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications, as well as popular restaurants like Shanghai Countryside, Prince VIII, Dianhua, and Taoyuan.

 

This year’s travel fair has set up a themed area for the first time, located in Area H on the 2nd floor of Hall 1 at the Taipei World Trade Center, under the theme “Love to Travel.” A series of performances and promotional lucky draw activities have been planned, including stamp-collecting for gift bags, credit card full-amount gifts, as well as inviting travel experts to share how falling in love with travel has changed their lives, what they’ve gained, and interesting stories from their journeys. There will also be DIY experiences at tourist factory booths and dance performances. At the same time, those who purchase tickets at convenience stores can exchange them for fair lottery tickets, with a chance to win airline tickets sponsored by China Airlines, EVA Air, TransAsia Airways, Uni Air, Mandarin Airlines, and U-Land Airlines, as well as star-rated accommodation vouchers and other great prizes.
