The oldest Peninsula Hotels group in Asia has launched the "Dragon Spirit" stay experience across its global properties, offering not only Chinese breakfast, Chinese newspapers, and Chinese TV channels, but also Chinese-language room service menus, safes, and bedside control panels. Mandarin-speaking staff are also on hand to provide service, allowing “not-so-fluent-in-English” Greater China tourists to fully enjoy their hotel stay.

The Peninsula Hotels Group has now launched the "Dragon Spirit" stay experience. Nine Peninsula Hotels worldwide will serve Chinese breakfast, including dim sum, congee, noodles, soy milk, Chinese tea, and Chinese newspapers. Rooms will also be equipped with slippers, shaving supplies, toothbrushes, Chinese TV channels, and travel publications. Hotels can also provide electric kettles, tea, and other personal items upon request.

Additionally, room service menus, facility operation guides, safe and bedside control panel instructions are all available in simplified Chinese. The Hong Kong Peninsula Hotel has also completed all room renovation projects, upgrading its room facilities with cutting-edge technology. Guests can set the main control panel language to either traditional or simplified Chinese via the control board. Moreover, most Peninsula Hotels have arranged for Mandarin-speaking staff to offer more thoughtful service. Furthermore, when hosting Chinese guests, the hotels take care to respect Chinese cultural traditions, arranging rooms with numbers ending in “8” rather than “4” whenever possible.
