Swiss International Air Lines wins “Best Business Class in Europe” award three years in a row!

At the 2013 World Travel Awards, Swiss International Air Lines was named “Best Business Class in Europe” for the third consecutive year. Onboard, passengers can enjoy a selection of over a hundred movies, including those produced in Switzerland, and savor delicious meals prepared by Swiss chefs using local ingredients and unique cooking techniques. Additionally, for any questions about flights or tickets, passengers can get real-time assistance from the service center via Facebook or Twitter.

Since 2005, Swiss International Air Lines has won the “Best Business Class in Europe” award five times at the annual World Travel Awards. The airline is currently working to enhance its long-haul services and to incorporate more “Swiss-style” elements into the travel experience. Among the improvements, the in-flight movie selection will expand to include 130 films by autumn. The new “Made in Switzerland” platform will also feature performances by renowned Swiss musicians and screenings of Swiss-produced films.

 

In addition, passengers flying in business class on Swiss long-haul routes departing from Switzerland can enjoy the latest edition of the “Taste of Switzerland” culinary program. Every three months, a celebrated Swiss chef is invited to create meals using local ingredients and traditional cooking styles. On selected flights within the Swiss European network that regularly fly to Switzerland, business class passengers can also purchase Swiss specialty gifts. Moreover, Swiss International Air Lines is one of the first airlines in the world to offer real-time customer service through Facebook and Twitter. Passengers can contact the Swiss service center anytime to inquire about flights, tickets, changes, or other related matters.
