Stepping into Splendid China New Yuanming Garden is like entering a garden from the Qing Dynasty hundreds of years ago, giving you the illusion of traveling back in time to the prosperous days of the Qing Empire. Known as "the only imperial garden in southern China," Splendid China New Yuanming Garden is not only the largest tourist attraction in Zhuhai but also one of the top ten tourist attractions in Guangdong Province. Its unique offerings make it a must-visit destination for travelers to Zhuhai.
In addition to the stunning scenery everywhere, what takes the fun to the next level is the up to thirty performances held throughout the day. No matter when you visit, you’re likely to catch a great show. It’s worth noting that large-scale song and dance performances such as "The Qing Dynasty" and "Qi’ao Storm" are held at night, so if you want to enjoy these grand productions, it’s recommended not to enter the park too early, as Splendid China New Yuanming Garden does not allow re-entry.

Splendid China Folk Village is actually a combination of two major attractions: Splendid China and China Folk Culture Village, so it’s easy to imagine the vastness and excitement of the park. Splendid China presents a miniature version of five thousand years of Chinese history and majestic landscapes, covering an area of 300,000 square meters, and is said to be the world’s largest real-scene miniature scenic area. Most remarkably, 82 attractions, mostly reproduced at a 1:15 scale, are arranged according to their geographical locations in China. Walking through the park is like revisiting your childhood understanding of China’s geography.
The China Folk Culture Village spans over 200,000 square meters and is a large-scale cultural tourism destination that integrates folk arts, traditions, and residential architecture of various ethnic groups. It includes 22 ethnic groups and 25 villages, all built at a true 1:1 scale. Through cultural performances, handicraft displays, and various festivals, it showcases the unique characteristics and cultures of different ethnicities.
