China’s most anticipated hotel in the southwest, The Ritz-Carlton, Chengdu by Fuli, has officially opened its doors. It is the ninth Ritz-Carlton property in China and the nineteenth in the Asia Pacific region. Located in the historic heart of ancient imperial Chengdu, the opening of The Ritz-Carlton, Chengdu symbolizes the arrival of luxury service in one of China’s most promising cities, as well as the introduction of the globally renowned personalized legendary hospitality to Chengdu.

Chengdu enjoys a strategic location and has been an important stop on the “Silk Road” since ancient times. It is also the birthplace of tea, with a tea-drinking history spanning over two thousand years. With its rich tourism resources and natural cultural heritage such as Jiuzhaigou and the Giant Panda Breeding Research Base, Chengdu has long gained international fame, attracting global travelers in droves. Li Xuan Chinese Restaurant specializes in refined Cantonese cuisine and signature Sichuan dishes; Feast All Day Dining Restaurant features five open kitchens serving global cuisines: Italian, Japanese, Chinese, and Southeast Asian; the Lobby Lounge is the perfect spot for classic English afternoon tea; and FLAIR Sky Bar, designed by KCA, boasts a vast terrace with sweeping views of Chengdu. The Ritz-Carlton Spa, designed by the renowned American interior design firm HBA, features ten treatment rooms, including two suites and luxurious恒温 jade stone beds. Decorative materials include historically rich elements such as wooden structures, metals, marble, and silk—named after the trade route of the Silk Road—transporting guests as if they were on the ancient route.
