The Grass Ridge Ancient Trail Miscanthus Festival: Northeast Coast’s Most Beautiful Autumn Scenery Returns in November

The ultra-popular autumn event on the northeast coast, the “Grass Ridge Ancient Trail Miscanthus Festival,” now in its 12th year, will make a classic return along the Grass Ridge Ancient Trail from November 16 to December 1. This year’s theme is “Dancing Wind with Flying Miscanthus.” In addition to the classic 8.5-kilometer route of the “Grass Ridge Ancient Trail,” special weekend activities have been planned, including: “Grass Ridge Nostalgia, Dress Up Creatively,” “Explore the Ancient Trail with Weekly Lucky Draws,” “Tea Served by Shop Assistants,” “Mini Games Along the Ancient Trail,” “Rubbing and Dough Figurine DIY Workshops,” “Big Li Temple’s Peaceful Porridge for Blessings,” and “i-like Lingjiu Mountain – Check-in to Win Gifts,” among others. These are paired with special offers from travel agencies and surrounding merchants, allowing visitors to depart from the Grass Ridge Ancient Trail and experience the refreshing beauty of “Dancing Wind with Flying Miscanthus.”

 

Additionally, the Northeast Coast & Yilan National Scenic Area Administration will also operate miscanthus festival shuttle buses on event weekends (November 16, 17, 23, 24, 30, and December 1), running between “Fulong Visitor Center – Yuwangkeng Water Park” and “Dali Visitor Center – Fulong Visitor Center.” Moreover, local businesses have launched a series of “Dancing Wind with Flying Miscanthus” discounts: hotels in Toucheng and Jiaoxi are offering stays starting at 50% off on weekdays and 10% off on weekends, plus hot spring packages; multiple tourist attractions across the northeast coast, including Longdong, Fulong, Aodi, Zhuangwei, Toucheng, and Luodong, are providing discounts; and travel agencies such as Lion Travel, Five Star Travel, and Shangshun Travel have created value-added tour packages centered around the miscanthus season.
