The North Coast Hot Spring Food Carnival: Up to 52% off on soaking in hot springs and savoring fragrant crabs

This year’s annual North Coast autumn-winter highlight, the “2013 North Coast Hot Spring Food Carnival,” has invited multiple hot spring and food businesses to launch an ultra-attractive “Hot Spring & Gourmet Feast” promotion, with discounts starting as low as 4.8% off. From now until January 20, 2014, netizens visiting participating North Coast hot spring food establishments can enjoy specially designated offers at exceptionally discounted prices.

The North Coast is uniquely blessed with four types of hot spring waters—submarine hot springs, iron springs, sulfur springs, and carbonated springs. Autumn and winter are the best seasons to soak in the warm, golden waters of the North Coast and indulge in a soothing experience for the body and soul. The “2013 North Coast Hot Spring Food Carnival” compiles introductions to the characteristics of hot spring areas, local culture, specialty products, and special offers from various businesses. Visitors can also take the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle—Crown North Coast Line to easily explore the North Coast, enjoy hot springs, and savor creative dishes made with local ingredients such as Wanli crabs and abalones, while taking advantage of the specially curated promotions offered by each establishment.

 

The North Coast National Scenic Area Administration has also combined transportation tickets into the “Crown North Coast Discount Package.” It aims to provide the public with an exceptional value hot spring journey through the Hot Spring Food Carnival. Netizens can get off at the Jiataoli (Hot Spring Area) stop and walk just two minutes to one of the carnival’s participating businesses—Musha Hot Spring Resort Hotel—to enjoy a luxurious double crab meal at 4.8% off, plus a 2.5-hour rest in the Ubud Suite. Alternatively, they can visit the Jinyongquan SPA Hot Spring Club to savor delicious Wanli crab and abalone congee in an open-air bath, experiencing a gourmet meal worth NT$1,460 at a price just under NT$1,000. They can also walk 15 minutes to the Old San Francisco Governor’s Hot Spring to participate in a stamp-card discount voucher activity, or get off at the Jinshan Old Street stop and visit the Tangyu Shuangquan Hot Spring Club to enjoy a 10% discount on the Chat Restaurant’s double creative dishes and a soak in the public pool. Additionally, the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle is offering a winter-limited “Active Hot Spring Journey” combo package for NT$389, which includes one Taiwan Tourist Shuttle Crown North Coast Line ticket and one public hot spring voucher (choose one of four options) worth up to NT$580. This combo package is on sale from now until December 31.
