New Taipei City’s Happy Christmas Town Unveils Limited-Edition Christmas Commemorative Postmarks at Temporary Post Office

Strolling under the romantic and dazzling lights of the Xinzhuang Special Zone, do you feel like sending a postcard to a long-lost friend or mailing a gift to loved ones far away? Banqiao Post Office has partnered with New Taipei City Government to set up a Christmas House at Civic Square during the event period from November 22 to January 5, 2014, providing basic postal services. Business hours are from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM on weekdays and extended to 10:00 PM on weekends. For this event, three limited-edition commemorative envelopes, three special date stamps, one Christmas Bear commemorative stamp, and six designs of Christmas postcards have been specially created to delight philatelists. During its stay, the Christmas House also hosts creative activities such as “THANKS & GIVES,” “Write to Santa Claus,” and “Postcards to the Future.”
