The Grand Park Laiyi has held the "Christmas Charity Gala" for three years in a row, thanking everyone for responding to the call to donate auction items. In just two hours on December 24, more than NT$100,000 was raised, all of which was donated to the "Family Care and Children’s Assistance Foundation," bringing warmth to the cold winter season. Following that is the "2013 Poolside Spectacular New Year’s Eve Gala," from 11:00 PM on December 31 to 12:10 AM, featuring a rock-filled countdown party. Guests are invited to enjoy performances by the Huang Shengfeng Play Band and H.Double C, combining movies, music, and basketball tricks for an exciting "High-Energy Rock Show." Attendees are also encouraged to dive into the pool for the "Dive & Hug Spectacular." There are 50 thoughtful prizes, with the grand prize being a voucher for a weekend stay in a Western-style mountain-view suite worth NT$17,600. Guests can overlook the Lanyang Plain, gaze at the brilliant fireworks in the sky, and join the "Countdown Fireworks Show" connected with Taipei 101’s iconic display to kick off 2014 in dazzling fashion.

As the passionate countdown comes to a close and 2014 begins in style, The Grand Park Laiyi, in collaboration with Yilan County Government, Fo Guang University, and Jiaoxi Township Office, invites guests to participate in the "Fo Guang Sunrise Welcome" event at 5:30 AM on January 1. Guests can enjoy the mountain mist of Wufeng Mountain and take in the panoramic view of the Lanyang Plain. With good weather, they may even catch a glimpse of the famous scenic wonder, "Turtle Mountain Sunrise." Reservations are required before 7:00 PM on December 31, with a limit of 18 participants. At 6:38 AM, guests can release "wish balloons" to send their New Year’s hopes soaring, ushering in a happier 2014. Guests staying overnight that evening can participate in all the above activities for free.
