The unlucky Keelung Yellow Duck recently exploded unexpectedly, with its limp vinyl body floating in Ocean Plaza. The original hope of celebrating the New Year together with duck fans was dashed on the last day of 2013, leaving many fans stunned that they couldn’t spend “1314” with the little duck.

The Keelung Yellow Duck, having survived the "dirty duck" incident, had finally been cleaned and was originally expected to ring in the New Year in a fresh and clean state with its fans.
