The 5-month-old panda "Bao Bao" at the Smithsonian's National Zoo in Washington D.C. is just a little smaller than Yuan Zai. On January 6, she met the media for the first time, and her lovable appearance won hearts as she walked around without any shyness. Her mother, Mei Xiang, sat nearby watching. "Bao Bao" is already quite independent and doesn’t need to cling to her mother all day. Her cute actions such as learning to crawl and playing in the mud were eagerly captured by the media.
