Free Wi-Fi & Must-Visit Attractions for a Short Trip to Hong Kong During Chinese New Year & Valentine’s Day

Visitors planning a trip during this time shouldn't miss the great deals and recommended attractions provided by the Hong Kong Tourism Board.

The “Visa Premium Winter Specials” campaign in Hong Kong runs from now until February 28. When traveling in Hong Kong, simply show your VISA card and a valid travel document under the same name to get a free 5-day PCCW-HKT “Hong Kong All-in-One Mobile SIM” pass. The SIM card is plug-and-play with no application required, offering 1.5GB of local mobile data in Hong Kong for seamless internet access. It also includes HK$25 credit for international calls and text messages, plus free access to PCCW Wi-Fi broadband services. All “Hong Kong All-in-One Mobile SIM” customers can also check major Hong Kong attraction information provided by the Hong Kong Tourism Board via a dedicated mobile page created for the SIM card.

 

Harbour City has launched the “Love. Seek Chocolate” event from now until February 16, themed “Romance is everything.” In the mall’s atrium, there are giant love cards and 3D anamorphic displays for visitors to experience, making you feel like you’re in a luxurious sweet kingdom. Additionally, artworks created by five artists from around the world using chocolate are on display, including a “Wearable Foods” fashion series made from chocolate in various styles and textures, chocolate accessories themed around floral art, jewelry series inspired by the concept of “food specimens” that capture the essence of food, high-end fashion pieces created with chocolate and other food items, and “visually edible” artworks themed around ice cream, all showcasing stylish French romance.

Sky100 Observation Deck presents the “3D Greetings & Fortune at Sky100” Lunar New Year promotion from now until February 16. Visitors are invited to the tallest building in Hong Kong to take fun 3D photos with large-scale 3D portraits at 393 meters above ground, experiencing a 360-degree auspicious start to the New Year, symbolizing progress and advancement in the coming year. The 3D portraits use optical illusion techniques to create a sense of depth, making visitors feel as if they are part of the artwork. “Step Higher ICC” features the International Commerce Centre, the tallest building in Hong Kong, where visitors can hold small props while standing on the 3D painting, such as climbing a rope to reach the top of the skyscraper. The “Smooth Sailing & Joyful” 3D portrait gives visitors the unique experience of sailing on Victoria Harbour, traveling between the bustling shores, symbolizing smooth sailing and good fortune. The sailboat is also accompanied by koi fish symbolizing luck and happiness, as well as turtles representing longevity, allowing visitors to take photos together as if they are part of the propitious imagery of a carp leaping over the dragon gate.
