Following his art exhibition in 2013 and the publication of an art book, actor Guo Yanfu collaborated in 2014 with the new-generation Taiwanese local brand deya to launch four cultural and creative black tide bags: “Fu Sees Taiwan,” “Mobile Dream Castle,” “Exploring Our City,” and “World Travelogue.” This transformed Guo Yanfu into a creative artist. These four bag designs were the result of over a year of planning between deya and Guo Yanfu, finalizing the illustrations, designs, and samples to create these fashion-forward black tide bags that combine dreams, cultural creativity, and Taiwanese culture. The four bag styles are expected to be exported to over 50 countries worldwide, including Taiwan, China, Hong Kong, Europe, and the United States.

Initially developed through collaboration between a Taiwanese team and a French designer, the brand serendipitously came across Guo Yanfu’s artwork and learned that he is the host of a travel show with deep knowledge of Taiwanese culture. His art style features both Taiwanese elements and a global perspective, prompting deya to approach him for collaboration. Xu Nengjun, General Manager of deya, stated that both deya and Guo Yanfu originate from Taiwan, share a love for their homeland, and have their own dreams, aspiring to shine and let the world see them. Collaborating with Guo Yanfu marks deya’s first step in connecting with Taiwan and promoting Taiwanese cultural creativity globally.
