Mika Ninagawa Exhibition Pop-up: Stunning Portraits of Trendy Guys on First Overseas Showcase

Capturing the world in “Ninagawa colors,” renowned Japanese photographer Mika Ninagawa held the “Mika Ninagawa IN MY ROOM | Cool Guys Portrait Exhibition” in Taiwan, gathering portraits of 42 popular fashion celebrities and figures from Japan and Taiwan. With her unique perspective, Ninagawa captures the personalities hidden behind the expressions of these male stars.

The exhibition space was designed with the inspiration of a “private room,” which caused a sensation when exhibited in Tokyo’s Shibuya last year. This is the first overseas showcase of the solo exhibition. The unrestrained yet aesthetic Ninagawa style, along with the intimate portraits of multiple male stars, drew much attention.

For this exhibition in Taiwan, Qiu Shengyi, Bii Shu-jen, and Liu Yi-hao were specially invited to participate. These trendy guys displayed unique sensuality and charm under Ninagawa’s very personal lens. Limited-edition merchandise planned and produced under Ninagawa’s direction was also available for sale at the venue.

ASUS also collaborated with Mika Ninagawa on the “Beauty. Power. Artistic Vision – Flower 'Appears' Love” experience event. From now until February 11, visit the 1F Plaza of Taipei’s Sanxing Digital Life Park to not only revisit the vibrant charm of the Mika Ninagawa collaboration works, but also experience several ASUS ZenBook series laptops that combine both design and performance.

Additionally, at the experience event, attendees could take photos and interact with the colorful and dazzling product visuals on the elaborately designed mirrored stage. The site featured a specially created “Flower 'Appears' Love Gift” photo wall with butterflies fluttering amidst a romantic pink backdrop, as well as a couple’s wish wall. Completing challenges on-site offered chances to win exquisite gifts and enter lucky draws.
