【Stay in a Homestay on Tuesday】Riverside Fairy Tale Forest Farm, Roam the Farm Scenery and Enjoy Carefree Fun

If you’re driving along Provincial Highway 4 in Daxi, you’ll spot a three-story sloped-tile red-brick European-style building standing prominently by the roadside. This eye-catching structure is hard to miss. But don’t assume that Daxi Riverside Forest Farm only consists of this one building and the small area in front of it. The striking building is merely the entrance façade. Once you step into the garden, you’re guaranteed to be pleasantly surprised by what lies within.

The farm preserves nearly a hundred native old trees, divided into sections such as an herb garden, a lotus pond, and a flower garden. The pathways are all paved with natural materials like square andesite tiles, stone slabs, or wooden boards. Coupled with colorful wooden house mailboxes and wooden benches, it feels as if you’ve stepped into a forest farm straight out of a fairy tale. There’s also a mini version of the “Bee Story House,” with many paper bees flying across the ceiling inside. The farm also offers services like a barbecue area, wedding venue, and horseback riding area, making it perfect for spending outdoor time with friends.

If you venture further onto the wooden deck or step into the restaurant filled with images of Nutcracker soldiers, you’ll discover that the farm is right next to the Dahan River. The vast, lush riverside grassland accompanies the flowing river, where herds of cattle occasionally roam. Looking in another direction, you can also admire the white steel arch bridge of the Jincheng Bridge, instantly calming your mind.
