Following the launch of the world’s first Avatar-themed park this year, Disney has now announced plans to build two “Star Wars” theme parks, set to open in 2019！
In 2016, Disney announced plans to build two Star Wars-themed parks, one at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and the other at Disneyland California. The Star Wars area at Disney’s Hollywood Studios will span 14 hectares, making it the largest themed area in the park. The Star Wars parks are expected to feature entirely new planets while also incorporating iconic movie scenes familiar to fans, with an opening scheduled for 2019.
Meanwhile, the world’s first Avatar-themed park is expected to open this summer at Disney World in Orlando, USA. Centered around the movie’s Pandora planet, key scenes such as the iconic tree where the lead characters fall in love and the jungle where the heroine lives will be authentically recreated, generating high anticipation among travelers worldwide.
