Taiwan’s Second Starbucks Drive-Thru, a Hotspot Café in Taichung

After the first in Tainan’s Yongkang Zhongzheng branch, Taiwan’s second Starbucks Drive-Thru has opened in Taichung ! It debuted on June 6th, attracting crowds eager to try the contactless, convenient ordering experience. This Starbucks branch belongs to the Chungde Changping store, making it the second drive-thru location in Taiwan and the first to feature a straight-line lane design for easy customer access. Shoppers have praised the straightforward ordering and pickup layout, earning high praise right from its opening !

The Starbucks Chungde Changping branch spans over 265 ping, with a total of 180 seats, including the largest outdoor seating area in the Taichung region. It features an advanced face-to-face two-way ordering system and digital menu boards for quick and convenient service. The exterior adopts a leisurely resort-style design, wrapped in cedar wood slats for a cozy and elegant feel, complemented by three large floor-to-ceiling windows that fill the space with natural light. Inside, walls are adorned with linen fabrics and hand-painted coffee-themed illustrations, creating a relaxed, travel-inspired, and laid-back atmosphere.
