Starting now, the “Prepaid LTE SIM” is available for sale at Kansai International Airport and Narita International Airport in Japan. At Kansai International Airport, it is sold directly via vending machines, a first in Japan. The biggest advantage is that travelers don’t need to worry about flight arrival times—they can easily purchase a SIM card at any time via the vending machine. At Narita International Airport, it is available at the Telecom Square Mobile Center in both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2.
