Paris’s Hottest New Whisky Bar Has 1,000 Choices—Including a Taiwanese Brand!

France has long been famous for its champagne and red wine, but recently a rare and highly praised whisky bar opened in Paris. NamedGolden Promisethe bar is located in the basement of a restaurant and is renowned for its collection of over1,000 whiskies.
According to Lonely Planet, the restaurant and a beverage retailer jointly created this space, which was designed by the local architecture firm jbmn. The project aimed to build a hidden bar within the existing restaurant space, offering visitors a unique experience.
Since the basement was originally divided into different rooms, the designers built on the existing structure to create a distinct ambiance in each space. For example, one bar offers 200 types of whisky along with Japanese snacks; another specializes in 800 rare whiskies from around the world, focusing mainly on Japan. Other regions represented include Scotland, Ireland, the United States
