From the Gongliao Ocean Music Festival starting in early July to the 2014 Tainan Masago Music Festival in August, music and beach lovers should not miss out. In central Taiwan, Nantou hosts the Nantou Train Festival, where the Little Bear School takes both adults and children into the world of steam trains. Qingjing Farm, surrounded by grasslands and flocks of sheep, also launches its Summer Windmill Festival – a unique summer event that impresses visitors with its spectacular scenery and earns praise year after year.

In addition, well-known major attractions across Taiwan remain ever-popular destinations that travelers never tire of. The mountain-town charm of Jiufen and its old streets, the sky lanterns of Pingxi and the JingTong old street, the Daxi Old Street in Taoyuan, and more, all offer delightful holidays filled with beautiful scenery and delicious food. The Mediterranean-style architecture of Nanzih Fishing Port in Hsinchu is also a sight not to be missed. Fly a kite, play frisbee, enjoy coffee, and watch performances on the large lawn next to Nanzih Fishing Port for a leisurely afternoon.
