The “Sun Moon Lake Come!
Bikeday” cycling event has been held for three years now,This year’s highlight, the “2014 Taiwan Cycling Festival – ‘Sun Moon Lake Come!
Bikeday Classic Bicycle Carnival,’” which takes place on November 9, will be different from previous years – it will center around the theme of “classic.”Creating a nostalgic classic bicycle celebration, the “Classic Ride Classic Bicycle Tour” warmly invites classic bike fans from all over the world to bring out your cherished vintage bicycles, dress in retro outfits, “ride” out your prized rides, “show” off your taste, make friends through cycling, enjoy a leisurely lakeside ride, and relive the good old days.

On November 9, in addition to the laid-back classic ride, there will also be more athletic events such as the “Sun Moon Lake South Tribe Challenge (50 km),” “Lakeside Challenge Ride (30 km),” and family-friendly “Kids Balance Bike Fun Race.” The Xiangshan Activity Center venue will also feature exciting performances including samba drumming, BMX stunt shows, and unicycle clown acts. Additionally, there will be booths offering various bicycles, local agricultural products, and interactive children’s coloring activities. All participants who register for the event will receive exclusive souvenirs and raffle tickets, with a chance to win great prizes such as “round-trip flights to Hiroshima, Japan.”Registration runs from Monday, August 4, to September 30, and will close once capacity is reached – so don’t miss out. We welcome all the most energetic cycling enthusiasts to come join the fun.

Those who can’t make it to the event in person shouldn’t be disappointed – on November 1, you can also sign up for the “Puli Paper Dome Cycling Leisure Ride,” enjoying Puli by bike. After the ride, you can continue on to the “Sun Moon Lake International Fireworks & Music Carnival,” where the beautiful lakeside fireworks light up the night in harmony with elegant symphonic music, offering a deeper experience of Sun Moon Lake’s charm.
