Opened in late March last year in Tokyo, “Tokyu Plaza Ginza” has set up the LOTTE DUTY FREE store on its 8th and 9th floors to cater to travelers. With 150 brands available in its duty-free counters, it is the largest duty-free shop in Tokyo.If you purchase Jo Malone here, for example, the 30ml costs 6,400 Japanese yen and the 100ml 12,800 Japanese yen, which equates to approximately NT$1,760 and NT$3,517 respectively—about NT$250 to NT$500 cheaper than buying in Taiwan.

The duty-free store at Tokyu Plaza Ginza also offers a thoughtful service: foreign travelers can present their passport and return flight ticket, then after shopping, visit the designated counter inside the department store to have their duty-free items delivered to a specified airport (limited to Terminal 1, 2, 3 at Narita Airport and Haneda Airport). Later, they can pick up their goods at the city-duty-free delivery counter in the airport using a retrieval voucher.
