ISEEYOU EVA Air Chairman nominates Takeshi Kaneshiro for ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

In recent years, domestic businesses have repeatedly tapped into Takeshi Kaneshiro’s high popularity to shoot annual advertisements. From the 2013 EVA Air I SEE YOU ad, filmed on Taitung’s Brown Highway, which spurred a tourism boom in Chishang, making the "Kaneshiro Tree" a popular attraction of the year; to the 2014 endorsement of Chunghwa Telecom’s 4G ad, with filming locations including the Yilan Literature Museum and Hesheng Taiping Café, which have recently become hotly discussed popular spots.

In the video, Takeshi Kaneshiro chose to use water from a dehumidifier mixed with ice cubes to take on the challenge. However, he did not nominate anyone in the video. Instead, he expressed his care for the ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) campaign through subtitles, and hoped that those who watched the video would spontaneously do something to care for society. Beyond drawing attention to rare diseases like ALS, he also wished for all disadvantaged groups in need of help to receive heartfelt care from everyone.
