The giant pandas “Tuantuan” and “Yuanyuan” are about to turn 10, and their collaborative offspring “Yuanzai” has also been quite busy these days, often secretly following the keepers to see what everyone is up to. The staff are preparing a 10th birthday party for Tuantuan, Yuanyuan, and Yuanzai, allowing the panda family to enjoy a happy gathering together.

Last year, “Tuantuan” celebrated his birthday solo, enjoying a cake in the exhibition area. This year, the whole panda family of three can celebrate together across the barrier and share the joy of turning 10 with everyone. The zoo plans to use the MOD live broadcast at 4 p.m. on August 30 to thank everyone for their blessings across time and space. You don’t need to leave home—you can also join Tuantuan and Yuanyuan for the celebration via the Hinet “Everyday Happy Yuanzai” online livestream.

The 10th birthday cake holds special meaning. The keepers congratulated Tuantuan and Yuanyuan on starting their family and added an extra treat at 11 a.m. This house made of Ma bamboo shoots, along with adorable fruit and vegetable floral arrangements, will be the feast at 11 a.m. tomorrow. What surprises await at 4 p.m.? The keepers have already designed the initial shape of the cake—the final decorated product remains to be seen.
