Taiwan High Speed Rail 2014 “Discounts & Lotteries – Double Benefits, Monthly Free Tickets” Campaign Prizes:

l  First Prize: 12 winners per month, each receiving “4 Standard Carriage Free Ride Vouchers,” totaling 48 winners over four months

l  Second Prize: 20 winners per month, each receiving “4 Standard Carriage Half-Price Ride Vouchers,” totaling 80 winners over four months

l  Third Prize: 20 winners per month, each receiving “2 Standard Carriage Half-Price Ride Vouchers,” totaling 80 winners over four months

 

 

※ The relevant regulations for Taiwan High Speed Rail’s “Standard Carriage Cardholder Discount Program” are as follows:

1. Starting September 1, the ticket sales window for the “Standard Carriage Cardholder Discount Program” will be adjusted to 4 days (inclusive) before the travel date up to 1 hour before train departure. Passengers are advised to take note.

 

2. The “Standard Carriage Cardholder Discount Program” is only available via the “Credit Card Discount Zone” on the THSR official website’s “Online Booking System.” Passengers must first enter the first eight digits of their credit card number to confirm eligibility for the program before proceeding to complete booking and payment.

 

3. Before tapping your card, please confirm with your card issuer whether your credit card qualifies for the discount. Also, before using reward points for redemption, ensure that your points meet the required criteria to guarantee you receive the applicable benefits.

 

4.A maximum of 10 tickets can be purchased per transaction under this program, and it can be combined with the “15% Off Weekday Off-Peak Discount.”; it does not apply to child tickets, senior tickets, compassionate tickets, or group tickets, nor can it be used in conjunction with other THSR promotional offers.

 

5. During thecampaign period (from September 1 to December 31, 2014, based on travel date),passengers who purchase standard carriage reserved seat tickets with designated bank credit cards will receive one lottery entry for each ticket with a valid ride record. The list of winners will be announced on the 20th of each month on the THSR official website (postponed in case of holidays).
