Currently, the golden needle flowers at Sun Moon Lake are in full bloom, covering approximately two hectares. Though not as vast as the golden needle flower seas of East Rift Valley, the orange-yellow shining flower sea surrounded by green mountains remains so beautiful it’s almost overwhelming. The flower viewing period lasts for about a month, from the end of August to the end of September. To make the most of the flower viewing fun, be sure to visit the active basin golden needle flower sea at Sun Moon Lake in Nantou.
