The top recommendation for the Mid-Autumn holiday is the Masago Music Festival.The highly acclaimed Masago Music Festival has been postponed to September 6th.Coinciding with the Mid-Autumn holiday, the event will feature performances by A-Lin the “Born Diva,” healing singer Show Luo, and renowned music creator Chao Zhi-Bi, among others, providing a special Mid-Autumn experience. Nearly thirty food stalls will be set up on-site, offering authentic Tainan delicacies, traditional snacks, and nostalgic treats, allowing music lovers to enjoy live music, delicious food, and the bright moon, immersing themselves in an urban music celebration and a joyful Mid-Autumn. Additionally, to combine music with creativity, participants dressed in themed costumes at the festival will receive a small gift (while supplies last)—don’t miss out!

To allow the public to fully enjoy the wonderful Mid-Autumn atmosphere,the Tourism Bureau recommends two of the hottest moon-gazing spots: “Moon Reflected on Water” and “Romantic Moonlit Invitation.”These include the scenic area of Hudie Pond known as “Moon Over Tiger Pond,” the Hulupi Natural Ecological Leisure Park, and the Jian Shan Pi Jiangnan Resort. With mirror-like lakes creating a serene and elegant ambiance, they help you unwind and escape the hustle and bustle of city life. Other great options for couples looking for a romantic moon-gazing experience with coffee and hot springs include Guanziling Hot Spring Scenic Area and the 175 Dongshan Coffee Farm, while those seeking a cultural stroll with family and friends can explore Tainan Metropolitan Park and Tainan National University of the Arts. These are all fantastic spots in Tainan for moon-gazing, so gather your friends and come enjoy the Mid-Autumn Festival together.

To provide affordable yet premium travel services for those who haven’t planned their itinerary or don’t have access to a car, the Tourism Bureau has partnered with “Taiwan Golden Tourism Award” winners to offer several “shuttle bus tour packages” starting as low as NT$499 to explore the ancient capital’s attractions.
