Defy color expectations: China’s Panjin Red Beach

Summer has just ended, and when we recall the season, images of sunny beaches often come to mind. But located in Liaoning Province, China, there’s a place called Panjin Red Beach that completely upends our notion of what a beach should be. Instead of the typical golden sands, this beach is an expansive stretch of vivid red. Though it's called a beach, it’s not really a beach in the traditional sense — not the kind of sun-soaked coast where you splash around and play in the waves. In fact, Panjin Red Beach is a spectacular coastal wetland, spanning about 80,000 hectares. The endless crimson landscape is truly unforgettable.
