A small white chapel has emerged in the mountains of Cenglin Village, Yujing District, Tainan, resembling snowflakes drifting through lush forests. Its fairytale-like and romantic style quickly attracted many visitors to hike into the hills, making it one of the area’s most popular new attractions.

The white chapel was built by the owner of the nearby Hidden Field Mountain House homestay and is named “Ying Sheng Hall” in memory of the owner’s parents, using the last characters of their names to express remembrance. The chapel is located in a very secluded spot—you have to follow a narrow path to reach the small village of Cenglin in Yujing, nestled beside Hidden Field Mountain House. The pure white chapel stands out vividly in the mountains, with its bright, open space offering an unobstructed view that is incredibly healing.

The white chandelier hanging from the chapel ceiling is composed of small structures, descending like white snowflakes within the chapel—pure and immaculate, as if floating on the breeze. Paired with a white piano and colorful stained-glass windows, this white chapel adds even more romantic charm, making it a beloved spot for couples to promise happiness.
