Fulfill your dream of flying！Taiwan’s first AJET Aviation Training Center officially opens

Didn’t you always look up at the sky as a child, imagining how cool it would be to soar through the air? Or remember the thrill of taking your first flight ever? Maybe you even imagined yourself as Tom Cruise, flying heroically through the skies in the movie Top Gun. What if you could fly high above the world, enjoying the most breathtaking views all to yourself? Well, now these dreams are no longer out of reach.The AJET Aviation Training Center officially opened to the public on September 24. As Taiwan’s first such center, it also offers flexible options including night and holiday “part-time courses,” allowing you to pursue your dream of flying without giving up your job.

AJET Aviation Training Center Chairman Gao Jian-yP stated that the establishment of AJET is not about running a driving school, but about providing students with the most professional and safe aviation training courses, making it the best partner for anyone in Taiwan who wants to learn to fly. Currently, most aviation-related programs at Taiwan’s universities and colleges focus on mechanics and engineering. With the support and guidance of the Civil Aeronautics Administration, AJET hopes to fill the gap in basic flight education in Taiwan, and even position Taiwan as a key supplier hub for pilots in Asia in the future.

Brand-new professional equipment Experienced training team

The AJET Aviation Training Center’s training courses help students obtain three types of aviation licenses:Private Pilot License (PPL), Instrument Rating (IR), and Commercial Pilot License (CPL).Adhering to the principles of professionalism and safety, the AJET Aviation Training Center’s rigorous curriculum exceeds the requirements set by the Civil Aeronautics Administration, ensuring that students fully master Taiwan’s civil aviation regulations, flight science, and knowledge.

During practical training, students fly professional training aircraft imported from Austria. Unlike traditional models, the training aircraft used at AJET are currently the safest and most advanced, with cockpit instruments and operations similar to those of commercial airliners. This minimizes the transition challenges when students obtain their Commercial Pilot License and begin working for airlines. By the end of 2014, the Taitung base will have five single-engine and one twin-engine aircraft, with plans to expand the fleet to 12 training aircraft by the end of 2015.

The AJET Aviation Training Center boasts a high-caliber teaching faculty. In addition to Chief Instructor Boris Bratusevac, who has over 13 years of flight instruction experience and holds 12 aviation-related licenses across six countries, Instructor Huang Ming-xuan is also the first Taiwanese “flight instructor” approved by Taiwan’s Civil Aeronautics Administration. Other flight instructors also bring extensive teaching experience, combining the strengths and features of international flight schools to deliver high-quality training programs to students.
