During the National Day transport period from Thursday, October 9 to Monday, October 13, Taiwan High Speed Rail has seen more enthusiastic ticket purchases compared to previous long holiday periods. To better serve passengers,it has decided to operate 3 additional train services on October 9, 10, and 12 (2 southbound and 1 northbound) to alleviate crowding.Passengers can start pre-ordering tickets for these additional services from midnight on Saturday, September 27. The company encourages passengers to use convenience stores, online booking, or the T Express mobile ticketing system to reserve their seats in advance, saving time queuing at stations and avoiding crowds.

During the National Day transport period, a total of 68 additional train services will be operated over 5 days (38 southbound and 30 northbound), bringing the total number of services to 743. Among them, 504 services will be eligible for the “Early Bird Discount,” accounting for approximately 68% of the total services during the transport period.Passengers who book tickets between 5 and 28 days before their travel date may enjoy Early Bird discounts of 65%, 80%, or 90%.
