National Day Fireworks in Taichung ! Five Highlights That Will Amaze – BRT Is the Most Convenient Option

After a 12-year hiatus, the “103rd National Day Fireworks” returns to Taichung,with a 40-minute fireworks display on the evening of the 10th at Taichung Harbor and a 20-minute show the following night (the 11th).The event will kick off with the largest caliber fireworks ever used in previous shows — a 20T firework — along with an all-star lineup. On National Day evening, the show will close with a performance by Jolin Tsai. With many high vantage points around Taichung offering great views of the fireworks, Mayor Hu Zhiqiang warmly invites everyone to come to Taichung, take the BRT to the event, avoid traffic jams, and enjoy the festive celebration full of joy and happiness.

The organizers have announced five major highlights, claiming it to be the largest-scale show ever, starting with a 20T fireworks shell. The firing area spans 1000 meters with a wide-format design. The grand finale will feature a 16T high-altitude burst, incorporating Double Ten emblems and countdown fireworks, as well as international-style special pinwheel effects. With the three-day holiday, the National Freeway Bureau estimates up to 250,000 vehicles per day. To ease traffic congestion,the Taichung City Government has planned BRT shuttle bus services. Under smooth traffic conditions, it will only take about 40 minutes to reach the National Day fireworks venue.

The fireworks will present themes of exuberance, radiance, glory, and a colorful world, combining large-scale aerial fireworks with music, laser lighting, and other effects. The total duration of the show is 42 minutes. With numerous elevated viewing spots nearby, as long as you can see the big chimney, you’ll have a great view of the fireworks. Locations such as Tianji Xinggong, Aofeng Mountain Park, Jingyi University’s Renyuan Building and Magpie Bridge, sports fields, Longjing levee bike path, Wanggaoliao, and Wujih Tourist Fishery Harbor are all ideal spots to enjoy the display.
