Fushoushan Farm The most popular foliage spot at Fushoushan Farm, Songlu, began showing partial red coloration on October 22nd as some Zao ye maples started to turn red！Currently, the farm’s maple foliage is in a transitional phase with a mix of green, red, and colorful hues. The best time to view the crimson leaves at Songlu is expected to be from early to mid-November. Everyone is welcome to come enjoy the autumn colors！

Alishan
Alishan’s high elevation and large day-night temperature differences have caused most of the green maples along Highway 18 between kilometers 90.5 and 98 to turn red. Autumn in Alishan, with its significant temperature shifts and ideal humidity, is perfect for experiencing the “Five Wonders of Alishan” – sunrise, sea of clouds, sunset glow, forests, and the forest railway. Viewing the maple foliage in Alishan is another highly popular autumn activity, with the best viewing period expected to be around late November to early December.

Shanlinxi
The maple leaves in Nantou’s Shanlinxi have turned into fiery hues. The area’s maple foliage belongs to the “long-leaf maple” variety, which is unique. Coupled with the high elevation, large temperature variations, and ample moisture, over 30 Zao ye maples planted in the park turned red almost overnight, making it one of the fastest areas in Taiwan to see autumn foliage this season.
