To meet the needs of passengers on red-eye flights, Taoyuan International Airport has coordinated with Kuo-Kuang Motor Transport to increase highway bus services during the early morning hours (01:00-05:30) when fewer shuttle buses are available. Additional services have been added between Taipei Railway Station and Taoyuan International Airport, aligning with existing schedules to ensure that passengers at Taoyuan Airport have access to transportation options heading south or north 24 hours a day.

Kuo-Kuang Motor Transport will add additional services at 03:30 and 04:30 from the airport to Taipei Railway Station. Along with the originally scheduled services at 00:50, 01:20, and 02:30, there will be at least one service per hour to Taipei Railway Station. In addition, Ubus Transport will operate hourly services to Zhongli Transfer Station, ensuring seamless travel for passengers around the clock.

Currently, during regular hours (05:30 in the early morning to 01:00 at night), highway buses from Taoyuan Airport head north at least once every 15 minutes to destinations such as Taipei Railway Station, Songshan Airport, Xindian, and Nangang Exhibition Center. Heading south, there is at least one service every 30 minutes to locations such as Taichung and Zhongli Transfer Station, with onward connections from Zhongli to places like Changhua, Chiayi, Tainan, Kaohsiung, and Pingtung. In addition to highway bus services, Taoyuan Airport’s scheduled taxis also adjust flexibly based on forecasted passenger arrivals to maintain sufficient capacity. Passengers arriving late at night who are in a hurry and prefer not to take the highway bus can opt for a scheduled taxi from Taoyuan Airport.
