This year, Skytree will introduce three exclusive Christmas-themed illuminations: green lights representing the “Christmas Tree,” red lights called the “Candle Tree,” and aqua-blue lights referred to as the “Champagne Tree.” Other areas feature blue and purple lights continuing the more common “Iki” (refined) and “Mi” (elegant) themed illuminations.

Additionally, over 500,000 LED lights will illuminate the entire Tokyo Skytree area. The site will also feature a European-style street market reminiscent of a fair, selling items such as German beer and red wine, bringing a taste of Christmas’ European birthplace to the heart of Tokyo and creating a deeply romantic and adults-only date atmosphere!
