Taiwan’s largest cornfield maze officially opened on November 15, inviting visitors to take on the challenge. The Yizhu Township Corn Culture Festival in Chiayi has built a giant 12-hectare cornfield maze. Aside from free maze exploration, event organizers have set up six challenge checkpoints inside. After collecting stamps by completing the challenges, both kids and adults can redeem gifts from the organizers.

The Yizhu Township Farmers’ Association stated that to promote non-GMO hard corn, they created a 10-hectare corn maze in 2012 which was very well received. This year, it has been expanded to 12 hectares, with an even greater level of difficulty. In addition, the vast cornfield features a dove-wing emblem design, which visitors can admire in full view from the central tower inside the maze.
