Japan has always been a favorite travel destination for Taiwanese travelers. In recent years, the rise of low-cost airlines has benefited many passengers, offering more choices in airfare, especially when it comes to reducing travel expenses, which is a crucial factor for many independent travelers planning their trips and managing travel costs. Vanilla Air is also a low-cost airline, but from the moment you board, you can experience high-quality Japanese-style in-flight service, allowing passengers to fly to Japan at an affordable price. For consumers who not only seek budget-friendly prices but also value service quality, Vanilla Air is the best choice!

Vanilla Air (バニラエア) was established on December 20, 2013, with All Nippon Airways (ANA) as its parent company. It is the first low-cost airline based at Narita International Airport, officially launching flights on December 20, 2013, with Taipei and Okinawa as its initial destinations. In November 2014, it also began operating routes from Hong Kong, and in February 2015, it plans to start services from Kaohsiung, offering Taiwanese travelers another convenient option. The distance between Kaohsiung and Tokyo is now shorter, eliminating the need to depart from Taoyuan Airport, saving both time and money. Flying to Tokyo will be faster, more convenient, and more affordable.

What satisfies passengers the most and what Vanilla Air takes the most pride in is its Japanese-style high-quality service, which completely surpasses the general perception and impression that travelers have of budget low-cost airlines. The in-flight meals, which frequently change their menu, win passengers’ hearts with Japanese-inspired Western-style dishes. The delicious meals are prepared with great care, providing both visual and taste enjoyment. Taking the autumn of 2014 as an example, the “Autumn Feast Mushroom White Sauce Pasta” and “Spanish Tender Beef Rice” are available for just 700 Japanese yen, while sandwiches are only 500 yen. For desserts, there is the highly popular and talked-about “Narita Dream Farm Balloon Milk Pudding,” along with breakfast bread, hot and cold drinks, and alcoholic beverages such as Asahi beer, offering a diverse range of food options.

Other thoughtful in-flight services include storybook lending, anniversary meals, and commemorative teddy bears. The brand image merchandise launched by Vanilla Air is also quite exquisite and practical, making it a great keepsake for passengers. The Vanilla Air brand-branded microfiber blanket and keychains are particularly popular items among travelers, and items such as notebooks, ballpoint pens, and L-shaped folders are also favorite collectibles.
