【Thursday Exhibition】The Beatles, Tomorrow: A Beatles Exhibition

No matter what kind of music you enjoy, there’s always a Beatles song tucked away in your heart, occasionally playing softly and accompanying you through various stages of youth. The Beatles, four young men from Liverpool, landed in the United States 50 years ago and swept the global music scene, becoming the most important band in the world. Influential musicians such as The Rolling Stones, Radiohead, and Mayday have all been inspired by the Beatles. Even after more than 40 years, the Beatles’ status in people’s hearts remains irreplaceable.

In December, the “The Beatles, Tomorrow” exhibition held at Huashan 1914 Creative Park in Taipei will take fans back to the wonderful 1960s—the golden age of the Beatles—through images and music. The exhibits have traveled from the UK, the Netherlands, Hong Kong, and finally arrived in Taiwan. Among the main exhibits is one of the globally limited 25 sets of The Beatlemania 100 photographic works, (the collection includes precious images captured by British Mirror journalists between 1963 and 1972, (presenting the complete glory of the Beatles before our eyes. These photographs capture many iconic moments both on and off stage, (as well as some very private instances, witnessing the journey of the Beatles from their rise to becoming the greatest band in the world.
