As time flows relentlessly forward, how to keep moving amid the memories and scars of the past — perhaps that’s the profound significance behind the establishment of the 9/11 National Memorial (The National September 11 Memorial). On September 11th, a day the world will never forget, 13 years later, the 9/11 Memorial rebuilt at the original site of the World Trade Center’s Twin Towers was officially completed. In addition to mourning those who tragically lost their lives in the tragedy, it has also become a place that radiates powerful positive energy.

This profoundly meaningful memorial was designed by architect Michael Arad’s entry “Reflecting Absence,” which stood out among 5,200 submissions from 63 countries, and was realized in collaboration with landscape architect Peter Walker. The 9/11 Memorial includes the square fountain memorials above ground, green plazas, the transparent glass building at the entrance to the memorial, as well as the main exhibition hall of the museum located underground.
