The Jiuzewu Hot Springs feature clear, colorless, and odorless water that leaves a smooth feeling after bathing. It is a weak alkaline calcium carbonate hot spring known for its soothing effects on muscles and joints, beautifying and nourishing the skin, earning it the reputation of a "Beauty Spring." To offer visitors diverse soaking experiences, Taiping Mountain National Forest Park has opened facilities including an open-air SPA pool, men’s and women’s nude soaking areas, and a family wild hot spring area. Among these, the open-air SPA pool is creatively made by carving large rocks brought by typhoons into unique stone tubs. The men’s and women’s nude soaking areas and family wild hot spring areas allow visitors to enjoy the phytoncides of broadleaf forests and the warmth of the springs in serene valleys.

The gourmet feast after soaking is also not to be missed. Ingredients at the Jiuzewu Restaurant are sourced from local farmers in Yilan and the Yilan County Farmers' Association, ensuring fresh local produce for delicious regional flavors. Additionally, outside the lodge there is a volcano-shaped egg-boiling pot that continuously emits hot spring water year-round, allowing visitors to DIY-cook eggs. The hot spring eggs have a soft, chewy texture and a unique hot spring aroma, making them a perfect post-soak treat!
