● New Year Family Adventure in Taipei
The “New Year Family Adventure in Taipei” route is especially recommended for families or groups of friends who enjoy outdoor mountain activities. It suggests taking the Crystal Cabin of the Maokong Gondola to enjoy a bird’s-eye view of the vast green mountains and forests. Upon arriving at Maokong, you can sip tea while admiring the beautiful Taipei cityscape. After lunch, head to the Taipei 101 Observatory to overlook the urban area — a perfect chance to take in the panoramic views. In the afternoon, go shopping, catch a movie, or sample local delicacies in the Xinyi Shopping District.
