The CITYLINK Nangang Station has officially opened, with Jimmy Liao’s dreamy bubble-blowing installation drawing huge crowds

The CITYLINK Nangang Station has grandly opened. Under the planning of Ruentex Group and the Taiwan Railways Administration of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications, the first new-style department store in the Nangang area is now open at the five-track-integrated Nangang Station. With the concept of “diversified development and international integration,” CITYLINK Nangang Station has introduced several international brands making their debut in Taiwan, creating a brand-new shopping environment. It offers customers an elegant space filled with sunlight, a slow-paced lifestyle, moments to pause, and opportunities to shop. In addition to meeting various daily needs such as transportation, shopping, travel, and leisure, it will also become a hub for transportation and local commerce.

CITYLINK has also collaborated with the Jimmy Liao brand, using his picture book “Is This Real or Fake?” as the theme, to present a grand opening gift to Nangang Station—the “Jimmy Liao Bubble-Blowing Installation Exhibition,” which will run until April 6, 2015. The “bubble-blowing” motif that runs throughout the picture book is a shared childhood memory for many. The act of blowing bubbles is like creating and protecting a beautiful dream. Through the story’s underlying message and the fantastical atmosphere created by combining imagery with three-dimensional installations, CITYLINK hopes to add fresh colors to life and inspire visions of the future.
