Stroll through the unique shops in Lane 117 of Qianmei Fantasie.

Every holiday, the Qianmei Eslite Greenway in Taichung is packed with people coming out for a leisurely walk. Kids chase each other freely on the grass, fly kites or simply lie down—absolute bliss. In recent years, more and more interesting alleyway shops have sprung up around the Greenway, making the area even richer and more fun to explore.

 

Starting in 2011, Fantasie Culture upheld four core concepts—"passion for creation," "green awakening," "dream amplification," and "memory continuation"—with the hope of creating a platform where creators and entrepreneurs could thrive together. They began renovating the old buildings in Lane 117 of Zhongmei Village Road. Using green architecture principles to redesign the space, they brought in micro-entrepreneurs to jointly build a creative lifestyle hub. A series of creative shops were recruited, forming today’s creative community. The shops, numbered 1, 2, 3, 5, and 8, include clothing boutiques, handmade shops, floral stores, and others, making up the first small alleyway creative cluster.
