New attraction at Huis Ten Bosch in Japan: A chocolate wonderland full of happiness!

Elegant European-style buildings with red brick walls and sloping tile roofs instantly transport you across time and space to Europe. No doubt about it — this is Huis Ten Bosch. With its beautiful European architecture and seasonal flower festivals, as well as the Light Kingdom created using millions of colorful lights at night, the park attracts many visitors and offers unexpected surprises. Now, a new chocolate-themed "Chocolate Count’s Mansion" has been launched. Not only can you use a block of chocolate as your ticket, but you can also try on gorgeous chocolate-themed costumes for photos. Even more fun — just turn on the faucet and you can drink chocolate cocoa!

 

The "Chocolate Count’s Mansion," which opened in November 2014, features romantic European-style architecture spread across a two-story themed space. Upon entering, you’ll be greeted by a luxurious lobby decorated with a massive 4-meter-tall block of chocolate — an iconic photo spot you can’t miss. In addition, it feels like stepping into the home of a count, with 10 different areas including a study, cloakroom, reception room, fortune-telling room, and dining area. The study displays many chocolate-related items, with some decorations even made entirely of chocolate. The cloakroom offers chocolate-themed costumes for visitors to try on, along with matching chocolate accessories for a fun experience. In the research lab, visitors can DIY their own custom-flavored chocolates!
