Executive Chef of Grand Hyatt Hong Kong’s Steakhouse Guest at Parkview Western Restaurant, Featuring a 20-Ounce Ribeye Steak

Following the first guest appearance of Patrick Shimada, the top steakhouse chef from Grand Hyatt Hong Kong, at Parkview Western Restaurant in 2014, after a three-year hiatus, Grand Hyatt Taipei has once again proudly invited Chef Patrick to guest at Parkview Western Restaurant from February 27 to March 10, 2017. He will present a series of signature dishes, including grilled Maryland crab cake, classic French onion soup, and premium American ribeye steak. Among them, the ribeye steak weighs a hefty 20 ounces (serves two), perfectly satisfying any meat lover’s craving. During the guest chef period, a seven-course lunch and dinner set menu is available, starting from NT$2,480 + 10%.

This guest chef appearance also introduces the Montique ultra-high-temperature oven, known as the “super oven,” which will perfectly deliver an authentic American steak experience — crispy, charred on the outside and tender, juicy on the inside. The restaurant will also play American country music, while service staff will don black steakhouse uniforms, authentically recreating the ambiance of an American steakhouse.
