An ultra-adorable Shiba Inu transforms into festive KK Donuts with four super cute Lunar New Year designs

As Lunar New Year approaches, many businesses are launching dog-themed products to welcome the Year of the Dog. Krispy Kreme, the top American donut brand, has introduced popular festive items every Lunar New Year—and this year, it’s celebrating with four themed donuts inspired by the elements of the Golden Dog, the God of Wealth, prosperity, and winter plum blossoms. These include the “God of Wealth Has Arrived” (a donut wearing a red official’s hat with adorable whiskers), the “Ten Dogs, Ten Beauties” Shiba Inu donut, the “Prosperity in Bloom” winter plum blossom petal design, and the pineapple-shaped “Good Luck & Prosperity.” These festive treats are here to bring joy for the new year!

Among the most eye-catching new donuts, the “Ten Dogs, Ten Beauties” Shiba Inu donut uses white and black chocolate to vividly depict the adorable pup’s features, paired with the popular chocolate custard filling—ensuring all your wishes come true in the coming year.

In addition to the four auspicious new year donuts, Krispy Kreme has also refreshed its limited-edition 6-pack and 12-pack New Year gift boxes with brand-new gold and red designs—festive inside and out, making them perfect New Year gifts.

The Year of the Dog Lunar New Year limited-edition donuts will be on sale from February 1, 2018 to February 28, 2018. During the promotion period, all outlets will also launch the “New Year Lucky Draw” campaign—purchase any 6-pack or 12-pack box of donuts to join the lucky draw.
