● Wuling Farm Cherry Blossom Festival
Park entry is subject to a total visitor cap, with a daily limit of 6,000 people. To alleviate traffic congestion experienced in previous years during the cherry blossom season, this year’s Wuling Farm Cherry Blossom Festival has planned special cherry blossom shuttle buses with advance ticket sales, as well as crowd control measures for individual visitors and tour groups, hoping to spare visitors the hassle of traffic jams while enjoying the flowers.

※ Only the “Lishan–Wuling Farm” shuttle sells tickets one day before departure from 18:00–20:00 at the Lishan Visitor Center. Full fare is NT$170 (includes round-trip transport only), with a limit of six tickets per person

● Xinshe Cherry Blossom Festival
Cherry blossoms in Taichung’s Xinshe District are gradually blooming. Although the Xinshe Cherry Blossom Festival doesn’t officially start until February 8th, many visitors have already flocked to see them. The local police department has also taken measures to manage traffic around Zhonghe Street Section 3 (also known as Dankeng Slope), a major congestion hotspot. They’ve set up traffic cones along both sides of the slope and actively coordinated with the Xinshe District Office to install no-parking signs along key cherry blossom viewing roads, expand parking availability at the District Office and Xinshe High School parking lots, and suggest marking no-stopping zones on downhill and curve sections. These efforts aim to provide the smoothest and safest traffic environment for flower-viewing visitors, ensuring that everyone who comes to enjoy the blossoms in Xinshe leaves with wonderful memories.

Covering an area of approximately six hectares, the Dazhong Turbid Water Lane Cherry Blossom Grove is planted with about 5,000 cherry blossom trees. The cherry blossom grove is on private land and was first opened to the public free of charge in 2012. In 2015, the owner opened the grove to visitors for cherry blossom viewing from February 7 to 17 for a period of 10 days.
